Since the first book JOTUNHEIMEN Fra hytte til hytte was published in 1987, I have been co-author of a number of books at Gyldendal Norsk Forlag. In addition to being the main editor for two of the books, I have contributed around 30% of the text and images to each of the books.

The book describes 55 hiking trails between cabins in one of the most popular and famous mountain areas in Norway. You will also find articles about glacier walking, the National Park, flora, fauna and maps on the scale of 1: 150,000.

The book describes magnificent routes in, among other things, the wild and beautiful Sunnmørsalps, Romsdalsfjella, Eikesdalen and Tafjordfjella. Here you can also read about trips to shelf farms along the Geirangerfjord, the avalanche accident in Tafjord, winter hiking opportunities and about snow and avalanche danger. A total of 127 routes are described.

Hardangervidda is a well-known and beloved mountain area for many, also for those with commercial interests such as fishing and reindeer hunting. RONDANE AND FEMUNDSMARKA

The book covers our eastern mountain tracts from Rondane in the west to Femundsmarka all the way to the Swedish border. In addition to the two mentioned areas, Alvdal west mountains, the Tynset area, Rendalen east mountains and from Rondane to Lillehammer are also visited. A total of 75 routes are described. We visit the inland fishing village Fiskevollen by Lake Sølensjøen, the old floating canal - Feragskanalen - in Femundsmarka, as well as the three national parks in Rondane, Femundsmarka and Gutulia respectively. The maps in the book are on a scale of 1:300,000.
